High voltage squirrel cage motor is a three-phase asynchronous motor with a squirrel cage rotor structure. Its rotor winding is made of aluminum bars or copper bars welded with short-circuit rings, and its shape resembles a squirrel's rotating cage. The working principle of high voltage squirrel cage motor is based on electromagnetic induction. When three-phase alternating current is passed through the stator winding, a rotating magnetic field is formed. The closed conductive bars on the rotor induce electromotive force and current due to cutting the magnetic lines of force, so that they are forced to rotate in the magnetic field and drive the mechanical equipment to operate.

1. Closed Box Structure

The stator windings and bearings of the high voltage squirrel cage motor are equipped with temperature measuring elements Pt100, six in total with two windings per phase and one bearing at each end. The elements are connected to a separate junction box, and the temperature rise is monitored in real time through the monitoring system. If the threshold is exceeded, an alarm will be issued to prevent the motor from overheating and damage.
3. Efficient Moisture-proof Measures
The high voltage squirrel cage motor is equipped with a moisture-proof heater, which is used when the machine is shut down to increase the internal temperature, dissipate moisture, and reduce the risk of failure caused by moisture.
4. Flexible Main Terminal Box Design
The main terminal box has an IP55 protection level, which can effectively prevent dust, water and foreign matter. It is usually installed on the right side of the motor (facing the main shaft extension end), and can also be installed on the left side according to customer requirements.
