Three phase asynchronous motor which is also named as 3 phase motors is widely used in industry. It has become the workhorse of many mechanical and electromechanical systems due to their simplicity and long service life. Three phase asynchronous motor is one type of induction motor, or asynchronous motor, that operates by the principals of electromagnetic induction. Generally, there are different voltages, speeds and powers. Frequently used voltages are 380V/400V/460V for the low voltage and 6000V/10000V/11000V for the high voltages. The speed varies to different poles number. 2 poles relate to 3000r/min rotation speed; 4 poles relate to 1500r/min rotation speed; 6 poles relate to 980r/min rotation speed; 8 poles relate to 750r/min rotation speed.
