【Product Introduction】
YR series high voltage slip ring induction motor adopts a winding rotor design, and the main structure is welded from box-type steel plates. After the three-phase AC is passed through its stator winding, a rotating magnetic field is generated to drive the rotor made of laminated silicon steel sheets to rotate. The winding structure in the rotor allows an external variable resistor to be connected during startup, thereby adjusting the starting current and starting torque, achieving soft start, and reducing mechanical wear on the equipment.

High Starting Torque
YR series high voltage slip ring induction motor adopts special winding design and magnetic circuit structure. Its winding turns can generate large current at the moment of starting, and with the optimized magnetic circuit, the electromagnetic interaction is enhanced, thereby obtaining high starting torque. Under normal circumstances, the starting torque can reach 2.5 times the rated torque, which can easily drive large inertia loads and is suitable for scenes such as mining and metallurgy that require high-power starting equipment.
Good Speed Regulation Performance
YR series high voltage slip ring induction motor adjusts the speed by connecting resistors of different resistance values in series in the rotor circuit. The speed regulation range can reach 50% - 100% of the rated speed. Compared with other asynchronous motors, the YR series can better meet the needs of different speeds in the production process, and play an important role in the energy-saving operation of equipment such as fans and water pumps.


Our YR series high voltage slip ring induction motors are available with air-air heat exchangers (IC 611, IC 616 and IC 666) or air-water heat exchangers (IC 81W). Choosing the right cooling system depends on the application of the slip ring motor.
The heat generated in the slip ring motor (stator and rotor) is fed into the air-to-air heat exchanger by an internal fan in the internal circuit. Ambient air from the exterior fan on the shaft flows through the air-air heat exchanger. The internal air transfers the heat generated to the cooling pipes which have ambient air flowing through them.

IC 666: Air - Air cooling with forced cooling fans in internal and external circuits
