Variable Frequency Electric Motor

A variable frequency electric motor is a motor that can adjust its speed according to the working requirements. By adjusting the frequency of the power supply, the variable frequency motor can achieve precise control of the motor speed, thereby achieving higher energy efficiency and lower energy consumption.

Precise Control
Our variable frequency electric motors achieve a speed accuracy of ±0.01% in the range of 0-1500rpm, which is equivalent to a fluctuation of no more than 0.15rpm at the rated speed. And its torque accuracy reaches ±0.1%, which means that for a motor with a rated torque of 100Nm, the torque fluctuation does not exceed 0.1Nm. This level of accuracy can meet the needs of more than 90% of high-precision industrial applications.

Low Noise Operation
Under rated conditions, the noise level of our variable frequency electric motors is as low as 45dB(A), which is 10-15dB(A) lower than ordinary motors. This is equivalent to a reduction from the noise level of an ordinary office (60dB) to the level of a library (45dB). At 75% load, the noise can be further reduced to 42dB(A).

Strong Overload Capacity
Our variable frequency electric motors have a specially designed stator winding and an efficient heat dissipation system, which have a strong overload capacity. For a short period of time (60 seconds), the motor can withstand 150% of the rated load, and for a long time (10 minutes), it can withstand 120% of the rated load. This strong overload capacity enables the motor to cope with sudden load changes, such as temporary acceleration on a production line or heavy-load cutting on a machine tool.

Soft Start
The variable frequency electric motor has excellent starting characteristics and can achieve full torque soft start. At the moment of starting, the motor can output 200% of the rated torque while limiting the starting current to less than 150% of the rated current. This feature greatly reduces the impact on the power grid. In contrast, the starting current of a direct-start asynchronous motor can reach 5-7 times the rated current, causing a serious impact on the power grid.
