This is the theory of how a 30kW Asynchronous Induction Motor works. When three-phase alternating current is fed into the stator, a rotating magnetic field is generated. This rotating magnetic field cuts through the rotor conductors and induces an induced current in the rotor through electromagnetic induction. The charged rotor conductors in the stator's rotating magnetic field are subjected to electromagnetic force to form torque. The torque drives the rotor to rotate, and the rotor speed is always lower than the synchronous speed, ultimately driving the equipment to operate.
All the equipment in the entire printing process of the printing industry requires asynchronous induction motors to drive, like 30kW Asynchronous Induction Motor
. The main drive systems of offset printing machines, gravure printing machines and flexographic printing machines precisely control the speed of the printing cylinder through variable-frequency speed-regulating asynchronous motors, ensuring the registration accuracy. The drive of the conveyor rollers for paper feeders, paper collectors and folding machines uses medium and small power asynchronous motors (0.75-15KW) to ensure smooth paper transportation, avoiding paper jams or wear. The hot air fan is driven by an asynchronous motor. The wind speed can be adjusted to meet the drying requirements of the ink, and the compatible power is 5-30KW. The tension adjustment mechanisms of the unwinding machine and the winding machine maintain the stability of material tension by fine-tuning the motor speed. Commonly used motors are 1.5-7.5KW.

Our customers in the American printing industry purchased 20 sets of 30kW Asynchronous Induction motors to drive their printing equipment. It meets the customers' demand for "long-term continuous operation", features a simple structure, low maintenance cost and reduces downtime losses. The good performance of our motors has been highly praised by the customer. The customer said that he would recommend our brand to his friends in the same industry and hoped to maintain a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperative relationship with our company.
In the printing industry, the selection of asynchronous induction motors should pay attention to the following points:
Printing equipment mainly consists of "constant torque loads" (such as printing hosts and tension control mechanisms) and "fan and pump loads" (such as drying fans). The former needs to prioritize torque stability, while the latter focuses on speed regulation and energy conservation.
High-precision scenarios such as overprinting and tension control require "stepless speed regulation", while ordinary conveying and cleaning equipment can operate at a constant speed.
Continuous operation (main unit, fan) requires high reliability, while frequent start and stop (intermittent printing machine) requires low starting loss.
There may be ink evaporation and dust in the printing workshop. The motor protection grade and explosion-proof requirements need to be taken into consideration.

Power matching: Select the type at 1.1 to 1.3 times the rated load of the equipment to avoid overload or "a big horse pulling a small cart".
Printing mainframe (offset printing machine/gravure printing machine) : 15-30KW (large high-speed machines can reach 55KW).
Paper feeding/collecting machine: 0.75-15KW.
Drying fan: 5-30KW.
Protection grade: IP54/IP55 is selected for regular workshops. Upgrade to IP56 in dusty and humid environments to prevent ink and dust from entering and affecting the service life.
Starting method: For frequent start-stop or high-power motors (≥15KW), a soft starter is required. For high-precision speed regulation scenarios (overprinting, tension control), a frequency converter should be compatible.
