1000KW high-efficiency induction motor, which is also a type of squirrel-cage motor. 1000KW is a high-power motor. When designing, its stability needs to be taken into consideration. In terms of application, the rotational speed of high-power motors is usually lower, such as 4 poles (1500 rpm), 6 poles (1000 rpm), 8 poles (750 rpm). The slip rate is 0.5 - 0.8%, making the operation more stable.

The insulation class of the 1000KW high-efficiency induction motor, is usually F/H grade,
with a protection class of IP55, which can protect against dust and light water mist and can adapt to harsh working conditions.

There are usually three cooling methods: IC411 and IC416.
IC411 indicates that there is an integrated independent fan at the tail of the motor. When the motor is running, it will drive the fan to work together, and the circulating air will remove the heat generated by the casing. The heat dissipation efficiency is stable.
IC416 indicates that there is an independent cooling fan at the tail, and an additional power supply is required. It is applied to variable-frequency motors.
When the variable-frequency motor is running, it will adjust the speed. When the speed is low, it is unable to maintain stable heat dissipation, so an independent motor drive is connected to the fan separately to maintain stable heat dissipation.
This type of motor with this cooling method has a compact structure, small size, low requirements for installation space, and is simple and convenient to maintain.
It has strong overload capacity and the starting torque can reach more than 2.2 times the rated torque. It can cope with instantaneous peak loads and increase the service life of the motor.

The customer's requirement is to replace the existing old motor. The equipment that the load is connected to is the rolling mill.
The working environment where the rolling mill is located generates a large amount of dust, iron filings and cooling water mist. Therefore, we have raised the protection level of the motor to IP65 to ensure that the 1000KW high-efficiency induction motor can operate better. This is to cope with the harsh operating environment.
Considering that the torque required for the rolling mill to start is relatively high, the starting torque of our motor can reach more than 2.2 times the rated torque, fully covering the torque required for starting.
During the operation of the rolling machine, the rotational speed needs to be adjusted. Therefore, we chose an electric motor with variable frequency capability when selecting the motor. The cooling method is IC416. Combined with the adjustment of the frequency converter, it is possible to achieve precise control of the speed and tension of the fried chicken.
