Explosion-proof AC motors are motors designed for flammable and explosive environments, and are mainly used in special workplaces in industries such as petroleum, chemical, mining, and metallurgy. Its explosion-proof properties enable it to operate safely in environments where gas or dust exists, avoiding explosions caused by sparks or high temperatures generated inside the motor.

Explosion-proof
Our motor housings are made of high-strength cast iron or ZL102 aluminum alloy above HT250 grade, with wall thickness exceeding 12mm and compressive strength reaching above 180MPa. According to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard, our motors have an explosion-proof grade of Ex d IIB T4 Gb and can be used in Class IIA and IIB gas environments.
Energy Saving
The motor efficiency of explosion-proof AC motors is as high as 94.5%, which is 1.1 percentage points higher than IE3 motors and 2.6 percentage points higher than IE2 motors. Compared with traditional IE2 efficiency motors, our IE4-level products can save 5000-8000 kWh of electricity per year under rated load, which is equivalent to reducing 3-5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Heat Dissipation
The shell of the explosion-proof AC motor adopts a special fin structure, with a fin height of 25mm and a spacing of 10mm, which increases the heat dissipation area by 40% compared with ordinary motors. At the same time, we use high-performance axial flow fans with an air volume of 3.5m³/min, which is 20% higher than that of standard fans. Therefore, when our motor is running at full load, the temperature rise is 15-20℃ lower than that of ordinary motors.
Low Vibration
We have optimized the stator slot shape and winding arrangement of the explosion-proof AC motor, and selected 42 slots to reduce the interaction force between the stator and the rotor. Therefore, the peak vibration speed of our motor is only 1.1mm/s, reaching Class A of the ISO 10816-3 standard, which is 40% lower than that of ordinary motors. This not only improves the comfort of the working environment, but also reduces fatigue damage to the equipment and extends the service life by about 20%.
